Chemistry

As there are varieties of chemistry used in li ion cells such as NCA, NCM, LFP and so on.

We use NCM as is has high energy density and longer life cycles.

 

Chemistry during operation

During charge-

The lithium ions are at cathode position during ideal situation. when cell starts to charge they pass through the electrolyte to anode side which is made up of graphite meanwhile electron pass through the circuit and reaches to anode to make stable reaction.

 

During discharge-

Lithium cells travels back to cathode side through electrolyte and electrons through the external circuit  which cause generation of the electricity which is used to power up the  vehicle.
